By using Augmented Reality (AR) technology, KIDO Book brings an extraordinary learning and reading experience to both kids and parents. Including numbers of short detective stories, kids and parents could work on different small discovery projects while reading the book with mobile app.
For each story, kids and parents need to help book characters to solve problems or mysteries. There are fun mini games to be finished in order to get hints to continue the reading progress. After getting enough hints, it is time for kids and parents to work together and complete different simple yet fun experiments in order to complete their mission. Kids and parents will able to know more cool and interesting facts of our daily objects after completing the experiments or discovery projects.

Here are the three main goals to be achieved in this project:

There is no doubt that both children and parents suffer a lot of pressure from academic studies. This issue is caused by various reasons like strong peer competition, overloading homework or workload and tight learning schedules. Leaving this problem unsolved, kids may eventually lose their learning interests and misunderstanding the true meaning of learning.

So, how can we help kids to regain their learning passion and interests? The answer is simple: learning with fun and encouragement! Actually, parents just spend some time and read books together with kids are already good enough. And that's the mission of KIDO Book, too.
